rewired the lancer 56k don't bother
here's some pics mf my new install, just did it yesterday
The first step was to wipe the entire floor down with acetone so that the epoxy would stick.
everything in the car (I cut the ty-raps off later, but left them on for the pics so you could see the black ty-raps on black loom)
Loomed and ready to go, colour coded and all.
signal cables:
Right side speaker wire:
Left side speaker wire:
new 8 guage positive and negative HU power wire to go from the power conditioner in the trunk to the HU.
Power wire, with polytuff nylon cored plastic flexible conduit for the portion under the hood.
wiring track laid out and stickybacks epoxied down:

To prevent being judged on the "weakest link syndrome" if you do something to one wire, do them all the same regardless...loom one, loom them all...just a consistency thing.

You don't get extra points. But just say there are 10 cars in the same class, and 9 out of 10 cars use only the most basic wire proctecion. Then that last car decides to do a little extra work and protect his wiring and secure it nicely in the car. Shouldn't that car be given full points for his efforts? And if all other cars are considered of lesser quanity, then they should not get full points, right?
If it were not important to protect and secure wiring in a car, why would the factory do it? I can understand that this particular car is doing more then the average person would do, but maybe that's what will set his car appart from the next?

Nice work. I did something similar in my truck for the 05 season:
Don't expect those adhesive tie strap pads to hold on with great strength for very long with any kind of use of the car. I rarely drive my truck and I had hot-glued in place the loom at intervals and then ran a continuous bead of silicone sealant to anchor each length along it's entire run. When I started my latest rebuild, I was suprised to find how much of it had let go. Still in place, but not firmly stuck to the adhesives.
