Lightbulb

^ And that is USACi. IASCA doesn't (unless it changed this year) have a set rule like tie wraps every 6/8".

And 'safe' is open to interpretation. Again, the theory is dedication to something so mundane reflects in the architecture of the entire system.

so far the wiring sounds better than the old way... especially if the car is parked north-south vs east-west

and I have a bridge for sale as well...

Everything has been hooked up and works, that makes me happy,

if you park the car with your right front wheel on a 6 inch curb at just the right azimuth you'll get a 3.5db pure increase....just thought I'd share an SQ secret.....you can thank me later.

It's the left front wheel. Not the right!

I think is a good thing to protect your wiring in a car. Securing it is more important though. I understand many of us IASCA guys will go a little further then most, but I would rather be safe the sorry. I also find that the average joe doesn’t run their cables in a particularly logical manner. I could hand my car over to any install shop and they would have no problems discerning what every wire in my car is meant to do. I've left no questions that need to be answered with my wiring. Everything is a one way street and cannot be misinterpreted.

*writes this down* LEFT front wheel on curb...

Anyways, it never hurts to have protection!! If jacob would have used it sooner.... LOL JK buddy!!! You know how I feel about your kids man!!

Regardless its a great job done, and all in all, doesn't it matter what the owner wants in the end most? I think it turned out great, hidden wire, protected, and functional!! I know that in Lancers that any wire under the carpet is felt REALLY bad(I talk from experience)

I agree, protection is important for the wiring. and the Iasca rules make room for a lot of interperetation for judges, I don't want to give them any room to "interperet" my install. I'll post some pics of the wiring terminations when I do them, but they'll be shrink wrapped and labelled, as well as colour coded. sometime I've got to start the trunk so I can finish it for this year.
