Rock Make Good Hitting Music?

I'm still debating weather it does, i'v played some rock in my truck with my subs going but most of it doesn't sound right. Maybe its just my set up, I find Alexisonfire doesn't sound good at all. Although i do find linkin park sounds great?

What do you all think about linkin park with your subs?

I'v also found a new song by LP and Busta Give it a shot it pounds pretty good.

What are your opinions?

I actually opened up Limewire while I read your post thinking "hey I don't have that LP song yet" and I'm a big LP fan. Never really been much of a Busta fan though.
That song sounds like it was written and should be sung by Eminem. Actually no, that's an insult to Eminem and he has a few decent songs.

Seriously I just lost some respect for LP after hearing/seeing that.

Apart from this shadow cast on LP their stuff should be hittin gpretty good with a nice setup. Songs such as "Faint" and "Lying from You" are some of my favourite harder hitting songs from them.

i listen to everything on the rock end of things, and i find you better off having strong mid bass. though some bands are hit and miss i have inflames albums that sound great and others that sound like crap, it has more to do with how the album is produced then anything i think, if the album was mixed bass heavy it will be good with subs if not then it wont.. though i find standard stuff like against me to always sound great in the car. Also i have found that the more power i have to the subs the better they do with rock... and you dont hae very much power.. sooooo more would help alot aswell...

definitely depends on the style of rock. motley crue, van halen, ozzy, machinehead, all hit great from mid to low. But others such as def leppard or stp emphasize the mid bass. My favorite is rock / techno...celldweller, oakenfold, crystal method.
checkout cell dweller - switchback, last firstborn, frozen, so sorry to say
oakenfold - switch on, sex n money,
crystal method - trip like i do, name of the game, mass distortion
