running power wires from battery to amps

I was wondering what would be the best option to run the power wire to the trunk. Either 2 4gauge wires or 1 2gauge and have it split into a 4gauge terminal. Also how would the best way to run the wires? underneath the car? underneath carpet or underneath the trim.

In the kit I have, I have 1 power wire/ground wire, 2 sets of RCA's, a small wire for don't know what, remote wire, speaker wire, a fuse block (can't seem to see how I would change the fuse in it) and I have a distribution block from 3 power to 2, not sure what gauge though.

sorry it comes with 17ft 4gauge power wire, 6ft of 8gauge and 4ft of 8gauge.....Now both my amps are 4 gauge so why they would include 8 gauge I have no idea.

just the way the distro block was designed. you can always invest in a diff distro block and some 4 awg wire.

Best to run it down one side of the car. Just pull up the carpet at the bottom of the door sills. That's where they run some of the original electrical wiring to the back.
