I just bought two Scosche EFX 10" subs model number (HDW1044) in a box. DVC 4 ohm, 250Watts RMS and 750 Watts Max (each) and I bought a 2 channel Pioneer Premier model number (PRS-D2100T) with 1200 Watts Max power, Continuous Power (4 ohm) 150 Watts x 2, Continuous Power (2 ohm) 300 Watts x 2, Continuous Power Bridged (4 ohm) 600 Watts x 1, I have the two subs bridged right now because they were already bridged when I bought them. The subs are wired with 16AWG and I am wondering if that wire is too thin? If I should go up a higher gauge? Also, what gauge should I run for my power and grown wires? What size fuse should I have in the power line. The amp has 2 30 Amp fuses built in. Not sure what size I should go for.

I would run no less then 2 ga for your power and ground and would go to like 10awg for you speaker wire. The inline fuse is up to you I would go about 75 amp or 80 amp if u can get that size.

x2^^^^ i use 8 ga power wire for my subs!!!......and 1/0 alll the way.......dont forget to upgrade the BIG 3 as well!!!!

i run 1/0 welding cable, 8ga to my subs, solid copper connectors on all my wiring oh and have a xspower d3100 in the trunk for that little extra humf.

You guys are thinking a little excessive. 4 gauge is more than enough for that amp, and 12 gauge for speaker wire is plenty.
