Scott did mention that he used a JDM Pioneer unit, did he not?
His approach in repeating certian apsects of the installation is a commonly used technique in public speaker. it may annoy the heck out of you, but you sure do remember those points.
I was thinking about the water cooling thing.. I wonder if the exhaust from the heat exchanger is vented to the exterior of the car or back into the inside?
I can so see Jamie freakin' that his car is rolling away!
Which reminds me, nice job at SBN jamie, I loved the way you explained the exposed 12V rule to that kid with the Chevy pickup! Thanks.

That's a very good presentation. You might not like his install, maybe you think it's too plain, but the whole point of the install presentation is to show why your car is the best and why you should receive maximum install points. He does an excellent job of milking it for all it's worth. Can you access any more of these Derek?

I think there is somthing to be said about a simplistic install. You can't tell me that the was any less time spent desiging that system than there is doing a full on glass install. His install is totally opposite as to what most are doing right now, and I respect a guy that can take a gamble like that. All in all, I like the concept of the install.
As for the presentation, let me say one thing. You all remember the fact that he pointed out alot of "creativity" and "attention to detail". Maybe too much right? If you all can remember it, just think how much the judges remembered when they are actually looking to remember stuff like that

Do you respect my install in the same aspect as well?
