well. i think my gain is messed up, how do i set the gain and bass ****? do i turn my gain down, turn my bass **** up, then put a 50hz test tone on and adjust gain untill there is distortion? tell ya the truth ive never set my gain before. its just a 1/4 turn maybe 1/8. also wut would i set my freq to?
on my deck wut should i set my hp/lp filters or whatever i think thats what it is?

I wouldn't even bother with the bass ****... just calculate the voltage you'll need at whatever load you're going to use for the amp and play a 60hz tone... use a DMM on the speaker outputs and adjust the gain 'till you get the calculated voltage.
