Need Advice In Setting Gains ASAP!

Got a Alpine MRP M350 and a 12" Type-S Sub. Whats some sort of ideas for the gain, bass eq and lp filter. I know its pref. but my bud wants an SQ persons advice. He listens to mainstream hip hop and the radio.

well we gave it a shot. super tough to tune to his likings. I never knew he liked techno, and i find bass is really different from techno to hiphop. I set it up to more of my style and showed him, he knows how to change it now.
