setting up crossovers.
#1
I need some suggestions on how to setup my crossovers in my system. Here's the equipment I have:
- AudioControl Three.1 (currently fixed at 90Hz@24dB/octave HP/LP)
- JL e4300 4-channel amp (adjustable 50-200Hz@12dB/octave HP/LP/Off)
- JL 12W0 (sealed enclosure)
- MB Quart DSE 216 (external crossover settings unknown to myself)
So how should I set things? I can make a new crossover module for the AudioControl if need be. Is there a way to passthrough the AC? Or are it's steep slopes good to have over the ability to fine tune with the JL amp?
Oh and if there's confusion as to how this is setup, the MB Quarts will be off of channels 1 and 2, and the 12W0 will be off bridged 3 and 4.
I realize to may take some fiddling, just wanted to know what you guys suggest to start off with.
Thanks!
