should i increase my fuse size?

Hey Mr. Spawn

The amp has it's fuse, so it is protected (actually the last thing that will burn will be the fuse, hehe). You might want to protect the battery against shorts on the cable path, so the fuse must be placed right on the positive terminal.

Competitors don't use fuse because of the small voltage drop across the fusing element, you can notice on the meter but normally not on the ears.
