Hey, is it a bad thing to play music with the sub & amp still plugged in and not workin? (refer to my problem in the install board if u dunno what am talkin bout) I dont have time to look at it till tommorrow cuz I gotta work today.

I can't see it being a problem as long as there are no shorts or anything..

I wouldn't think that still playing your music would hurt anything. But that all depends on what the problem is I guess. But I don't thnk you'll wreck anything!

Thanx guyz, now I just gotta figure out why no bass is comin outta it. I could'a swore I felt somethin before I left for work today but I can't tell if it was just a vibration from my 6x9's... [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]

If you don't already have one, buy a MultiMeter, it will come in handy..

check to see if the amp is turning on (there should be cool lights on it [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), and if it isn't measure if there is power at the positive terminal.. if yes, then turn the head unit on and check to see if there is power at the remote terminal and check to see if all the grounds are ok..

if it is turning on then check to make sure all of the rca's are plugged in, and that the speaker wires are still connected..

will do tommorrow first thing when I wake up thanx! U dont have msn msngr do u?? I do belive I have a multimeter, dad bought one awhile ago for some reason I laughed at him when I did till I bought the audio equipment lol.
