I definitely sounds like your box is not the proper size for your two subs.. What are your box dimensions? Is it ported or sealed?

lol ported box but i got the tops of the ports covered but the tubes are still there... the box is actually a tad big for the subs

How much airspace does each speaker have then?

its just a prefab 4 port box for 2 12's with all ports covered.. there in a square on top covered with 3/4" mdf...
