I bought a used 5 channel kicker impulse IX405D.
It was everything I ever wanted. The D class for the sub was nice and it had every filter/crossover I could ever want.

Anyway it worked for a few months but now its acting up. After about 2 seconds at loud volume the sound cuts out and all my woofers pulsate. then sound slowly fades in but w/o sub channel. After about 40 seconds the sub pops back on. I have opened it up to have a look and there is no odvious corosion or fried resistors or connections. Anyway it's looking like i should just turf the thing but it's a shame to have to do that. I don't see a point in spending a couple hundred bucks to repair it when I can get a brand new more modern amp with similar specs for 250-300. Anyone have any experience with these amps?
