I find it great when people have educated discussions on various topics.

But please, if you have no facts on the topic why post?===== mitek canada

Kyle, no offense but don't you think midnight mazda can have an opinion or should he and the rest of us consult you first before we post what we think of various products and topics?

Interesting... is it being suggested that everyone who works in offshore factories is being paid "good" wages? I find it laughable that my comments are being referenced as being "uneducated" when these people do not have any knowledge of my background and where I may have obtained my information -- Just so I make it known, I have various contacts in various industries (not just audio) with whom I communicate and obtain information from. The internet is a wonderful thing as well, you can find a ton of information on it.

Before you say someone has not considered their opinion closely, or challenge their degree of education (pun intended because I have one and Mr. and Mrs. Mitek don't ), maybe consider your own stance and ask yourself -- why you have made your own comments.

I just watched this movie last week: http://www.thecorporation.com/ It was stated in the movie that the workers that build Alpine gear overseas are paid 33 cents an hour. Just a little interesting bit of information. I am not trying to be all high and mighty about this either, my current deck and last two were Alpines.....

It's an endless argument.
Good points for sure. I think everyone should check out the film for themselves, it is interesting. I was discussing these issues with someone at work the other day, I think the thing that bothers me is maybe not the wage, so much, but the fact that Alpine will pay people this amount to build these stereos, which they then turn around and sell for hundreds of dollars. Obviously I understand that business is all about companies being profitable, but I think that the greed factor comes into play, also.

Thank you Paul, that is what I was referring.

It is interesting Mike that you include MTX as a well made US product that now uses ofshore sweat shops when Most of the amplifiers are still made in Pheonix and you choose to leave RF off that list?

Also MTX ships more amps in one week than we have return under warranty in a year. So in our case the quality is just fine thanks!

No we all should have a voice and there is no need to check with me first. Usually you have well thought out posts but clearly in this case your view had zero thought before you posted.

No offence intended.
