Rockford's assembly line does not produce all models at the same time....

They will produce a few hundred (or whatever they need) of one model for a couple of days and then switch over to producing another model.

The Punch and Power series are produced on the same assembly line.....just not at the same time.

I have had the oppurtunity to install in my demo cars both MTX and Fosgate. Both preformed excellent and I would not hesitate to use either again. We as a first world nation thrive on materialistic things way to much. As the demand for bigger and better amps subs etc has grown the price of these comodities has as well. In order to keep the price down companies have had to look elsewhere to manufacture these comodities in order to keep the price down. We all want nice cars ,houses etc. Well in order to get these things we need to be paid more hence labour costs go up and so does the price of products. That is only one reason. Have you checked the label on your shirt lately or your levis or hey go look on your taillight on your car I will bet you it was made somewhere else other than the plant your car was made in. For anyone to be so naieve to think that American made products are the best , Check the cap in side the amps or even the coils. Who the hell cares where it is made. Those people in China , India and elsewhere have to eat as well and I am sure they are happy as hell to have a job. When I was younger I got to travel lots all over the world to places such as china and so forth and I will tell you the people over there would put us to shame here in north america with their work ethics. And I thought this was about Quart.

Tim,

What does it matter if I have been there or not?

What is your point?

Are you trying to tell me that Rockford produces the Punch series amps off-shore?

Just because you have not seen it does it make it not true?

Why dont you answer these questions?.

I know I am qualified to comment on Rockford Fosgate......I also think my thoughts through before I put them on paper. It is not a good environment for people to be making statements that are not true.

If you do not like Rockford products just say so....I will not be offended at all.

I am not that good reading between the lines....If you have something to say to me give me a call 250-718-8786.

Regards

Dukk,

On the 'off-shore' issue, I agree with you 100%. I share your position on this.

You do not have to go to Italy to get good Italian food!

I went to a great place on Hastings in Burnaby called Anton's....huge portions tasted pretty good. A good pasta place.

Has anyone else tried it?

For real Italian I like veal and seafood and a good bottle of Chianti (Masi Amarone is good too).
