Sony Deck; Aux Input?

I've got a Sony DSX-S200X which has dual USB inputs in the front instead of one USB and one AUX input, and I'm wondering what options i have for AUX input. Doing a bit of research some people point to something as simple as plugging one of these in and activating the rear RCA inputs (Which currently do nothing) normally used for a CD changer, is this right? If it works I'd much rather go that route than buy a $100+ Sony adapter locally.. Any help appreciated.

If it actually works, then that would be the way to go.

The adapter finally came in the mail. plugged it in and 'CD' suddenly became available.. no sound though. my EQ background display even changes to the music from the AUX input but it still refuses to play, wasn't impressed.
