Question sony xm-2200gtx amplifier fuse rating

hey im need to replace the fuse(s) on my amp but i seemed to have misplaced the manual. i had two 40A fuses before but i was reading up on google and some sites say 48A and others say 40A

does anyone know which one is actually correct...thanks so much for the help!

you may not be able to find a 48 amp fuse. whats the max and rms specs of the amp.

edit: nvm that lol its a 400W rms amp. go to a local audio shop, they pay about 67 cents for 40's.

edit again and yeah its 40's they dont make 48's its usually a set increment. i.e: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40.

Try Canadian tire. or any other auto parts supply. or any car audio shop. or walmart.

Looked up the manual. The current draw at rated output is 48. It probably needs 2 40 amp fuses because they fuse the left and right power rails separately.
