A new amp that can do 200x2 rms at 4 ohms, with a built-in xover for $199 is actually a pretty good value as long as it doesn't continually blow-up. Buy it at a local store and you shouldn't have warranty issues either. If you are on a budget, go for it. I paid more for my Concept 75x2 amps.

Like sux 2bu says if it doesn't blow then it's a great value.

I was with a buddy couple of weeks ago who bought a Blau pca series 100x2 4ohm amp for $199. The thing weighs maybe 4lbs. Looks ok though and has worked well so far.

In comparison the Sony looks like it's worth a go.

good bang for the buck...this puppy can be had for under 2 bills...2-40amp fuses, it's got a pretty big draw for a $200 amp. I think it would run a set of components pretty well

I think there was a similar thread discussing this amp not more than a week ago that I commented in it.

I'll have to support the majority in saying it's likely a good value. If it dies, so what? Warranty it! If it's OOW, it's not like you spent a G on it in the first place.
