Any one know how to wire this sub and what ohm it can run at.

 

You have an SS XXX and don't know how to wire it? What are you powering it with? What ohm is the woofer? Technically you can run it at any ohm you want but it might eat itself, google it.

 

It is four 1 ohm coils...

 

Depends on the year of that sub. last years XXX15 where 1.4 this years are 1. If that one of Richard old one its quad 1.4 ohm

 

It's a quad 1.4 and i am using the xxx6500 amp to power it.

 

well you can get a 0.35ohm load off it, a 1.4ohm load, and 5.6 ohm load

 

Sooo....wire 2 coils in series 2 times and parallel those....gives you a 1.4ohm final load.....build a very strong enclosure and be prepared to run a lot of '0' ga power wire.....

for that amp you need to wire the sub to 1 ohm final.
