Not really a fabrication question because i think i'll be pretty comfortable making those, but i'm looking to install a component set in my truck, and instead of using the factory location, i want to make fiberglass door pod for the woofers and put the tweeters in the a-pillars.
my question is, when you do this, does the speaker go in a sealed enclosure that is mounted to the door, or do you just cut the panel and attach the pod (of which you only construct the top half of) on the door skin? just a little confused about this?
