To me, this looks like a bridged cup (the 2 metal strips can be removed), but heres my question:

Dual 2 Ohm VC sub, want the amp to see 1 ohm, what if I hooked up one voice coil to each terminal, then ran one speaker wire from the bottom or top bannana connector to the amp?

Since the cup has those metal strips bridging the terminals, this would be the same as hooking up the voice coils in parrallel wouldnt it?
