As title states, Stetsom 4K2D or AB 500.1? Looking for a daily pounder that can take hours of abuse. Given fans to help keep it cool. Would use two batteries.... running 2 15" TF1's @ 4ohms for daily & 1ohm for comps. Let the poll begin!!

Feel free to recommend other worthy adversaries.

 

1 ohm use include bassracing, or just burps?

The 500.1 is a solid amp for daily.....good protection and will take a beating. You rarely hear them blowing up. Not the most efficient amp but still puts out good power. You hear of stetsom blowing up a lot but i think it is mainly user error. Both pretty solid amps.



What coils are on your 15s?? dual 1 ohm???

Ya, they're dual ones. ALRIGHT!!, so far it's a 50/50 split! lol

 

I'm sure the subs will take the 30second beating, so ya, I'd have to say both Bassrace and burps... only plan to run it at 4ohms for daily.
