And with that Q it should be mentioned that this is not something you should really do on a street system. The companies that first began to promote this 'feature' were doing it for more power for SPL comps.
If you run an SPL car that has to double as your daily driver then I would recommend only 'strapping' your amps on SPL day and then choosing a more conventional wiring scheme during the week.

And for the remote gain i am not sure if it will work together. But what i have done in the past was use a phone jack splitter most of the remote gains use that type of plug. Then you can multiple gains with one remote. Might not work for some amps though.

I was considering a Mojo but a search revealed that two 1000d's are better.
^^ RC was talking about bridging, bridged amps.... Like taking a 4channel and making it into a single channel....
Some wierd **** about floating grounds, that didn't work in reality...
Anyway.... this topic came up like 4 monthes ago or something.... I posted a schematic for a bridging modual if anyone out there wants to build thier own..... try a search....
Never thought of using phase adjustment some amps have to set one 180 degrees out... that's a damn good idea slownlow... [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I would really like to try this, have you actually tried the bridging module you are talking about? What kind of results?
I wouldn't hold someone to blame if I smoke something, but if it has been tried in practice and not just in theory, I would like to give it a try.

guys------here is the status report-----i wanted to avoid the problems that can happen if this is done incorrectly as there are so many amp/powersupply topologies-----explaining every possibility is not so simple-------i am working on a universal bridging adapter that will allow ANY two amps (or even three or more) to be easily done-----i will publish the schematic when i am done for the do it yourselfers and i think dave N will make them at navone engineering for everyone else that doesn't want to go through the trouble.............
