After measuring, it would seem as though I will most likely have to do a 12. I only have about 16 inches of height to work with, and I don't really feel like modding my car. Also, that way I will still have some trunk space for golf clubs. Looks like I'll be ordering an XCon 12 in the near future.

 

Ok, so I have my front stage ordered (see signature), and now I just have to decide what sub to go with.

I'm pretty much in a struggle between the IXL 12" and the XCon 12". To reiterate, either will be powered by a SAZ-1500D (1500 rms @ 1 ohm). Obviously, the XCon's are brand new, but they are being dubbed ICon's on steriods, and would take that amp perfectly. However, I'm comparing a $200 sub to a $500 sub. Should I shell out some cash and go for the XCon, or put that money I would save towards misc. stuff like sound deadening and wires?

 

those ixl's sound great and get loud, you cannot go wrong with them.

 

I'm gonna throw 13W7 into the mix. 13W6v2 is more SQ than 13W7 but imo 13W7 is a serious sub and will take your 1500. Ya they do cost a bit, but man it will last you forever.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I ended up going with the IXL so I can put money towards sound deadening, wiring, etc. I am sad that I won't be able to try out the XCon, but being rattle free is more important in my books.
