ummm, I thought he asked for a sub... dual 2 would get a load of 1 ohm or 4ohms.

Why not just get a kaption spl to go with that amp

youll want a dual 2 ohm sub.
i`m new with subs so why dual 2, over svc? </font>
because when wired in parralle it will show your amp a 1 ohm load, which is where your amp makes the most power. if you wirer it in series it will show your amp a 4 ohm load, which means it will still work, but your amp will not put out the same power.

IMO wirering the same name of sub too an amp just because they are the same name is a JOKE. there is no benifit out of it, unless its a show car or something where names matter...

oh and a SVC sub doesnt allow the same flexability when i comes too wiring. for you, you would need a 1 ohm SVC sub. now this dosent sound that bad, but there arnt very many subs that are 1ohm SVC. plus if you blow your amp,you would need too find an amp that puts out most power at 1 ohm, or that is stable at 1 ohm, as apposed too a DVC were there are multiple wiring configes, which means that you options for amps are more plentiful...

hope that helps,
Dallas

wow thanx for the info, that clears it up alot, but if i run the amp at 1 ohm, doesn`t the distortion increase as well? and also i guess the amp has to work harder right?
