Sub recommendations

Sub recommendations for a 2003 chevy Tahoe budget 800 big three upgrade and custom box tuned for the subs. I have been looking at some and would prefer 12" or 15" tia.

Are you wanting to run 1 or 2 subs?

You have a good bit of space and good fit some nice subs but since you have a price range I'd go with 2 good 12's or 1 great 15.

I'd go with 2 rockford fosgate p2's or p3 12's
Or 1 NVX VCW15
That should keep you in the green for your tuned box amp and all for the $800 limit

Hope I could help

Yea Im not a fan either but my buddy from work has a k5 blazer and 2 p2 12's in the back their decent kinda tight for my taste but they can be felt no doubt but yea look up some videos of NVX VCW 15 they are suppose to be pretty badass. They have good reviews and if you know a lot of big bass heads then you must know EXO from youtube. He put 2 NVX 12's in a sealed box for his sisters setup and hit some nice numbers I want to say it was hitting 130-145 db.

Hope I could help

i wanted to know which subwoofer brand is the best kicker or dc audio or any other brand??, i have the following amplifier with me of 1000 rms
Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.
if i install a sub of more than 1000rms for e.g. 1200 or 1400 , will it under perform compared to a sub of exact 1000rms installed on MY amplifier(1000rms)????
money is it not issue please suggest good subs of 15 inch !!

So I just bought a sound qubed hds315 and it hits bro I mean but really it's all I. What your looking for and want to do...I mean if you want a daily drive system kickers aren't bad man your paying for the name but I've owned kickers and been happy but I would check out the soundqubed line hds3 or hdc3 line american bass and sundown have good subs but really depends on what you wanna do if you wanna upgrade your amp because all of these minus kickers run over 1000 rms per sub but you definitely see a difference again nothing wrong with kicker I'm js using an example and don't wanna start a vs thread the good thing with the sq line is they are excellent quality without the price so you could upgrade your amp and power your sub or subs as they should be

i can't upgrade the amp because of cash restraint , but can you explain simply , what would be the difference between the two if i put a 1000 rms sub on my amp and then test with a 1400rms sub on my SAME amp???will the 1400 rms sub be underdriven???
MY amp is 1000 rms at 2 ohm .
and the sub i would be installing would be of 2 ohm right?? or i am wrong?
