i need a 12" subwoofer with 1000 rms
and peaks between 2k and 3k
I know of audioque, and alpine type x
but what else could i get that sounds good at a lower price range
I JUST WANT ONE and I DONT WANT TO BUY YOUR USED SUBS

 

The funkypups peak at 20kw and are like $18.

 

digital designs, dc audio, re audio, ssa, atomic, fi audio, kicker, ascendant audio, and any other 1000 rms subs as all will handle peaks of 2-3k.

 

1000rms = not cheap

this is where you go further than just posting the amount of power you want if budget is an issue.

kind of music you like? does it go low? do you want fart? or tuned

i listen to a lot of excessively low music yeah
i want it to sound crisp and loud

The Fi Q is cheap and has good SQ.

Are you using 1K or 2-3K? If you're using 2-3K than get a Treo SSX or an Audiopulse Axis. A 1000W sub won't handle 2-3K for very long.
