Subwoofers Not hitting like they should?? Need help

Hey guys I'm new to car audio I have 4 planet audio 10 inch subwoofers and a vm audio 2200 watt amp and a Sony Cdx gt710hd head unit 52w per channel and the subs just don't hit like they should my buddy has 2 Memphis 12s and a 1000w amp and his hits harder than my 4 10s? Can anyone help me ? I tried adjusting all the settings in the radio and on the amp.. I also have a extra battery in the trunk and a soundstream 1000w capacitor.

What kinda "hit" are you lookin for? Thumpy or boomy?

It's either you need to change the box dimensions or you need to add a port(s) or passive radiator(s). Wattage means jack if you have the wrong enclosure setup.

Where are you from anyway?
