SWR-1522D and PDX M6
SWR-1522D and PDX M6
So i was wondering about this combo.. my amp birth certificate says it will do 700+ RMS at 14.4 volts... Question is if i'm running this sub @4ohm is it gonna be much different then running @1ohm sound wise? Also what i read in the sub diagram setup was u can run 2 amps to this 1 sub is this true? cause one installer lost a sale saying it can't so either he doesn't want money or its true it wont work.. Thanks
That amp is rated for the same power into either 4ohm or 2ohm. It doesn't appear to be rated to 1ohm so 4ohm looks like your choice. I really like the PDX amps. I wish I got better pricing on them
The sub has two voice coils. You can connect an amp to each voice coil so yes you can run to amps to the one sub. The amps must be carefully matched in output and there can be other problems doing this so I never recommend it but technically yes you can do it.
