Summers..no probs, but what about winters lol?

After we have a crazy system installed for the summer...how many people remove it for our great Canadian -28 below winter temps?

Will this not reap havoc with amps and such, never mind speakers?

i play my system in the -40 to -50 weather as well with no problems.

just gotta let things warm up.

That being said, i coulda sworn alpine says in their manual to either not operate their cd players in below -4C or maybe just that the cd players may not operate correctly below that temp.

In 3-5 winters, i've never had any problems

I've always just taken more care with it in the winter -- I let it warm up a lot before cranking it, and always take it real easy until the car's interior is warm. Other than that, I pay it no mind.

Never had any issues in the 8 years that I have had my system. I parked outside on the driveway everynight in Ottawa winters(-20 to -40).

I don't remember waiting for anything to warm up but that is a good idea.

I never have had issues, the head unit display is usually "slow" until things warm up, but that's about it.
