I agree with Dave on alot of points. Although I only paid like $110 for both drivers, they do the job well and Im really happy with them, if your expectign SPL get something larger but if you want a nice cheap sub that wont hurt the pocket book and will play nice and low Give these a try.

Sounds like not enough port area or you have some sharp edges that are creating the noise.
