I have played around with TF1s, they are really nice woofers. Had a failure the other day though...the motor is so big its hard to get the speaker wires in through the woofer cutout at the same time as the motor, I put it down on the lip a bit and broke one of the zip ties that holds the direct connect wire in place :-( now I have one white one and the rest black on that woofer...the non-matching zip ties cost me around 0.2db must be part of the magic of the woofer

hahahahahaha

latest user score update,

151.8 - pair of TF1 12's on a pair of earthquake D10's. In a Cavalier station wagon.

ShockingCanada 05-27-2008 09:55 AM

that seems like a manufacturers defect to me Yuli, I will need some factory authorized TF One zip ties so that I can regain the 0.2db I lost

Father Yuli 05-27-2008 09:58 AM

guy, clearly user's fault. cut the mounting holes bigger next time.

Jo-Psyko 05-27-2008 11:36 AM

I noticed the wire problem when i used and APX for a day to... the damn motors are so big you need a second pair of hands to keep the wires out of the way when you put the sub in..

Tell Yuli not to be so cheap and upgrade his subs with the 5db Special SPL wire ties.
