So yah had some time today, hooked up two earthquake phd10's to one TF1 ten.

One ten

Two amps

Took about 5 burps to find the note, then we filmed.

Then with a bit of tuning and few more burps to find the new note

i know the quality is not great, did it with a digi cam. Filming was done thru the window, hence the reflections of people walking by. Filming and commentary are courtesy of George aka DUMPED. The video is sideways cuz George is gangsta like that, he holds the camera the same way he holds his guns :)

you can see the sub move nicely. the number is not amazing by any means, just shows that the sub can take power. i think it would do a better number with more power.

Sorry i dont have any amp power numbers to go with this, i'll try to get those later this week.

After a few more burps we eventually got

but this test wasnt about spl numbers.

George thanks for all the help.

Great number and strong sub very nice.

DUMPED 04-16-2008 01:23 AM

thanks Yuli..I gotta say the sub was taking the power like a champ.
kept taking it again and again...

gotta give props to Yuli and the rest of the Street competitors.
you guys go through a lot and I mean A LOT of repetitive stuff during testing and putting up with it is a feat within itself.

you know I'm there anytime Yuli. After all it's only a 2 minute drive to the shop..lol

wait until everyone sees the numbers from the pair of 12s and the big boys (amps)

would be easier with 2. in your car maybe a single 12 could also work.

Jo-Psyko 04-16-2008 02:13 AM

i have a habit of doing everything the hard way.... So far my car is responding really really well but apparently once you start getting close to the 50's you find out just how good or just how bad the car actually is....

Father Yuli 04-16-2008 02:21 AM

with good power your car should break 150 with 1 sub. my grand cherokee did 151 with a single 10 and one amp. the caliber is smaller than a grand cherokee, i'd imagine it would be even louder than a mid size suv with equivalent gear/power. and a good box.

Jo-Psyko 04-16-2008 02:24 AM

yeah and its all plastic! even the backs of the front seats are plastic... there are no fabric panels, just the rear seat backs, and so far with the ele, very little tuning and 1000w its doing 144.7 and that was with the stock bass sucking deck... now i have a deck so it shouldn't be long... Just like the sig says... NEED MORE POWER!!!!! hahahahaa
