As Western Canada's oldest Eclipse dealer, great experience with these subs since they first came out about 8 years ago. They are by far and away one of my favorite subs to use both personally and in a system for a customer.

I've run a couple different Eclipse subs, one of them being an aluminum 12". The Eclipse is my favourite out of what I have used and played with. I fed it from as little as 400 watts to as much as 1100 watts.

Compared to :

My own

Eclipse 8700 3 - 10's
Eclipse Aluminum 12"
Kicker S12L7
Kicker S12L5
MTX 9500 2 - 12's
Lear Jet 12" (Sp?)..... long time ago

Subs I have installed for others

Eclipse 8700 2 - 15's
Bunch of Pioneer 10's and 12's
Kenwood 12" Tornado or something like that (been a while)
Orion Cobalt 12"
Crunch
Sony Xplod
Infinity

Like I said. My Eclipse subs sounded the best to my ear.

Later,
Brad
