Finally after adjusting a bit, sounded much better, still not exactly how i wanted it, but better.

I turned down the gain a bit, and turned up the frequency on the amp.

On the Re-Q, SS is on full, and sub control in the middle. LP is a bit over half way.

I still don't believe i have the best sound, will play around a bit mroe to see if it'll sound better. I know some people use a digital meter to measure the gain and stuff to be accurate.

now that it sounds decent...take photos and make notes of the settings...it's very easy to screw it up and you could spend a long time trying to re-create what you have now. At least now you have a starting point from which you can try to improve it.

So he disconnected the factory sub, and now i'm only running the aftermarket sub. He took out the hi level to low level controller, and used the Re-Q instead. Followed the instructions on setting it up, but still lots of low end bass. Only the sub wires were installed, as the other 2 plugs are for speakers. Currently, Bass Enhance switch is at "AFTR AMP" setting like stated.

Can some one shed some light here? i thought this would solve my issue, but appearently it didn't. or maybe it wasn't corrected installed or configured? I'm dying to know why. Any help would be great!

This problem is still bugging me, and its not even mine. lol

Alright, for starters. Guys, if his car already has (had) a subwoofer, why wouldn't they use the wires going to this driver and reroute to the amp for amplification? Why would they tap into rear speakers' wires?
If Mike was to take his "fade" control and set it all the way to the front, would he lose both the rear speakers and the sub output? If he moved the "fade" control all the way to the rear, would his bass output from the sub increase?
The LOC (Line Out Convertor) is what the tapped wires from the rear speakers went into, right? Then it outputs from the LOC as RCA's, and goes to the amp.

Mike, as far as your remote bass **** not going down all the way, I think its because it can't tell the amp gain to go lower than what the dial is set for on the amp. Try turning the gain on the amp to minimum (fully counter clock-wise) and see if you can get full control of the gain from the remote **** up front.

Hey Tragic, thanks for your implement. Yeah, it still bugs me, as I know that this still doesn’t sound like what it should sound like. But I don’t know what else to do, I know nothing about car audio, and I just have to go with what the guy says at the shop. I will try the fade feature and let you know what it results. Anyone heard of crystal line products? Some guy that owns a store said it’ll work better, but I don’t know who to believe. Thanks for the feedback, as for the bass control **** goes, from 0-70%, there’s no difference, I can only hear a difference when it’s turned more than 70% to full. I’ve tried with turning the gain all the way down, and it doesn’t do anything for the bass ****, the bass just fade out along with turning the gain down.

ok, so i played with the fade a bit, and tragic is right, when i move the fade to only front speakers, i get no bass at all, due to the fact that the sub is tapped to my rear speakers. and When i turned the gain all the way down, the bass control **** is useless. I don't knwo why, could this be an install issue?

problem solved!!

turns out, the shop originally did the install tapped the sub signal to the rear speakers, which is supposed to be tapped to the front speakers. My system sounds much much better now.

Specialy thanks to SeductiveSound (Stephen) from Ajax Futureshop, also James, you guys were awesome for helping to rewire everything.

Thanks for everyone on the forum who gave me inputs and feedbacks, Tragic, 420guy, MR2NR for your inputs and offering to help out. I appreciate everything, Thank you!
