Sorry but I HATE electrical tape- gets nasty after the first winter.... for insulating wires I use heat shrink, for attaching wires to something i use zip ties or hokey tape....

better tape and a propper wrap will help you out. also double wrapping and if theres a bunch of connections together like an ign harness throw a zip tie around it that way no ends can loosen off.

or just use heat shrink tape!!

thats the same idea behind good tapes that get a lot stickier as they get streched.
