and for the plastic rattle its less rattle for this but i have a lot of other rattle with this sub my next step is put a lot of B-quiet! :P

Great minds think alike....I was wondering the same thing.....

2nd question might be....how much testing did you do on tweeter placement.....I haven't had much luck bouncing them off the windshield like that, maybe yours is shaped a little differently or something?

 

its sound really great! i need more fine tunning on my h701 but its clean and loud but to much rattle for the moment hehe!

and for the tweeter its sound great i dont want to drill hole in my pillar but on the dash like that i like how its sound and thats a monting i had in my box of my cdt component kit!

 

In my 2005 I mounted the tweeters in the sail panels and then wrapped them with speaker grill cloth and I have asked at the parts desk at Toyota out of curiosity and they do sell the sail panels both blank and with holes for tweeters (and I'm assuming also in manual/automatic window options) not sure on a price though

 

nice! i go to my toyota dealer friday i will ask that! my matrix is in the recall for the motor problem....argh...:P
