Two small amps or 1 large amplifier??
Here's my dilemma...
I have two smaller RF amps (400s and a 250.2), and am considering replacing them with a larger 800.2, 700X or an older 800a4. Then that way I can use two channels for the front coaxials and bridge the two rear ones for the sub in the trunk.
It would keep things a lot cleaner for wiring in the trunk and keep the install simple for tweaking, maintenance, etc, etc.
What would you folks do?

I'd just keep the two amps to save money. Also, if one amp fails, then you put your subs on the remaining amp and use the head unit to power the speakers until you replace the broken amp. Can't do that with a 4-channel

I wanted to feed my X-One about 400-500w, which I wasn't able to do from the 4 channel amp i had, it was only 45x4 (JBL 180.4), so that is why i went the 2 amp route.
I wasn't going to spend the money to get a super 4 channel amp to run the sub and speakers since I already had a decent 4 channel amp for my speakers, so i just bought a separate mono amp instead. I also like to run separate amps just so I'm not straining the 4channel by bridging the rears to 2ohms mono.
Hope that explains it a bit better about why I said what I did.
*edit*
I'm just terrible in the morning, some people shouldn't be allowed to post
