Question

Hmmm, so i'm kinda in a pickle here, hoping some of you can shed some light on the situation for me.

The current situation consists of:

2 alpine type r 12" (03/04)'s running off 800w
CDT CL-61's running off 75w
stock rear running off 35w

The CDT's alone were not enough volume to match the subs.

Now, i'm workin on upgrading to a RE 12" XXX running off a viper 1200.1 (SQL) and thinkin of upgrading the amp for the front stage to a viper 400.2 (125x2 rms).

If i do this, i'd have to get rid of the rear fill , or else run a third amp just to power them. I don't really have room for a third amp though, and it seems like a lotta work to have that amp, just to push 35w to the rear stock speakers. I could run the speakers off the deck, but that means more wiring from the deck which is a pain too.

All in all, generally should 125x2 be enough for the CDT audio components up front to match the XXX?

(The 6.5" are in the door, door is not sealed, and the 1" tweets are in the dash in the stock location)

I realize this is kinda hard to say, and it doesn't help that my mids aren't sealed, but just looking for some expertise from the more experienced around the board.

Seal the doors, turn down the gain on your sub amp.
