Using a Marine HU in a car...

Is this possible? Are there any differences?

Do they come with the same type of harness?

No, shouldn't be a problem. Usually they don't have as many features as a higher-end deck but have some kind of means though to keep out moisture. Otherwise they connect like any other HU of the same brand.
