Viper 1200.1 - wiring sub to amplifier q's
#1
**Updated Question
OK, maybe it's cause it's nighttime, maybe i'm just retarded, i don't know. I'm lookin at the manual and it's different from my old amplifier for connecting subs. There's 2 sets of terminals on this amplifier, and says that they're wired in parallel internally.
How do i connect up a single DVC 2ohm sub, to wire it down to 1 ohm. Do i have to kinda bridge between the two sets of connections? can i just connect to one set?
(i know all +'s together and all -'s together, but to which connections on amp?)
OLD question:
mmk, i picked up the amp off one of the fellows on the board, and just came in today. Looking at it, it appears to be in decent condition. Only problem is, looking at the power and ground wires there's sorta a plastic bezel around them that looks like it might come off, but i can't tell, nor does it easily come off. Furthermore, there's no simple way to have the power/ground wires held in (no screw to tighten, nor does it label which is which.
So...who wants to enlighten me. After you make me feel like a retard, i see the amp has the connection for a remote bass ****. Is this connection and cable the same on any amp? I have the **** from an older concept amp, that i never used, but would it be compatible???

hmm ok i finally figured out you gotta unscrew the plastic bezel on the end. Also clued into the fact that the gain's and all controls are hidden under the lil emblem that i assume lights up. Totally forgot about them, kinda stoked about htem now.
