the wall
so ive been talking to the guy i deal with and since ive already got the 91 suzuki swift we were thinking about doing a wall in it, anyone have any ideas, opinions, or experience with this? pros vs cons on this idea

pro's:
-may look cool to some
con's:
-very heavy
-poor rear visibility
-can get just as loud without it
-a lot more work to make it
-more expensive to build
-may depreciate car's value
-may cause unwanted police attention
-difficult to conceal
-adversely affects car's performance..fuel economy, handling, braking, acceleration
-takes up usable space
-can't get it on with the ladies in the back seat!
-may look cool to some

Ya, unless your going to compete hardcore, I wouldn't do it for a daily driver. I did my vehicle a couple years ago, it was fun but its a lot of work and really wasn't worth the investment, unless like I said, your going to compete.

I'm with Chris..
I recently pulled a wall out of my festiva, and well... I'm putting one back in.
I got a lot louder with it in (due to the nature of the roof sucking *****) and I think it sounds a lot better daily.. (when the sub is turned WAY down).
Also, it's a great project.. Remember, half the fun is the build.

Hey,
I have to agree with the above two posts. I would think that if you are actually going to enjoy building it, then go for it. For me, it was an adventure. It was louder than anything anyone I knew had heard, and it looked cool.
I can't argue with all of the above disadvantages but if that's what you want, there is nothing wrong with that.
Remember about theft, I would make sure you have all the rear windows blacked out as well for cosmetic reasons. Not sure how good you are at building, but the back portion of my wall was ugly LOL.
If you decide to go for it, enjoy the build and don't go deaf!!
Good luck,
Craig G
