I don't see how this should even be a topic on this forum as they only ship within the Continental US which does not affect any of the dealers on this board....

My point here is not the price................why have retailers if manufacturers are going to do this................................and everyone knows that if you leave near the border "continental US" doesn't mean anything with all the mailbox places out there..........................

I consider it a slap in the face as a retailer...........................

What's next... the underground tunnel for smuggling car audio into Canada? Tim, your close to the border, tunnel away dude. So many CDN businesses have US addresses as well, I wonder why?

Sounddomain sells obcon online. For example a single 10" box is listed at $79.99 and when you add to cart it takes off an addition $10.

Mitek Factory Outlet gives little to no advantage to a customer over a retailer, especially in canada.

Ryan -- you are correct, any brand is available on the net; HOWEVER, there is a difference between some gearpirate (sorry, had to rob lol ) that sells suppier's gear online and the manufactor opening their own store. For the record, Obcon's site is a spoof of a net store -- you can only purchase t-shirts and lit -- but I guess facts are not exciting for you.

it is realy to bad that so much product heads in this direction regardless of arguments for or against. there is nothing that matches the kick in the teeth u feel when a guy comes to u and asks for advise on product that he said he was gonna buy from u but now has purchassed on line over a diffrence of like 20 bucks. and now he want's my support. man that stings.
