So add the truckload of hidden charges to the price tag then. Are you aware of the charges that the seller is not obligated to inform you about? Are you also prepared in the event of a warranty claim to ship the item back to the seller in the US and then back to you again all on your $?

I have bought alot of stuff from the states, and through ebay.(not just audio stuff). I know what kind of costs are involved and have never had any problems with warranty.

Thank you for being concerned. I know you are a soundstream guy, but what is your opinion on the Alpine MRP-M1000? i had been looking at an MTX-JH1200 but was told to stay away from them, opinions on the MTX?

No opinion on the MTX as it is a item that I do not have access to from what I recall. I do beleive that the Jackhammer line is only available from the Future Shop. That particular amp is waaaaay too powerful for your application.

Really? Cause it puts out less than the Alpine at 800rms(2ohms) were as the MRP-M1000 does 1000rms at 2ohms. I have heard of them blowing within a month or two of use though. I have alpine type s speakers right now, and i am happy with the quality/performance, so i think i might go with the MRP. Any opinions on that amp?
