whatever a 605 is it is probably fine too, and probably better than a 604?
X's like power> 300 watts, but they dont need a metric *** ton either (1000 each will probably shred them sooner of later), with the impedance load you can drive them with almost anything

the 605's is a series of amp made for the type r's. Seems kinda silly that buy the subs if im only going to run them on half. if they go they go, i didnt buy them to not push them and see what they can do.

ive read there rated for 1000 each and a guy put 2 pdx's too them and they hit really hard and sounded good. so the point of this was to see what other ppl thought and if theres a different amp a bit cheaper then 1000 a peice.

well if the 605 is ONLY for the R... then yeah you need to spend more money, did you know they made amps for the X's too? They were in the F#1 line you should use them

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND WHAT'S NEEDED TO GET THE FULL 2000 WATTS OUT OF IT? DO YOU HAVE THE ALTERNATOR, WIRING, BATTERY, ETC...TO SUPPORT SUCH A HIGH POWERED SYSTEM? DO YOU REALIZE THAT THE DIFFERENCE IN OUTPUT BETWEEN THE 2000 WATTS AND 1000 WATTS IS ONLY BARELY NOTICEABLE AT ABOUT 3dB'S? JUST A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE DROPPING A LOT MORE MONEY.
