scarlem, send the specs for the sub and i'll run it on my program at home and see what i can come up with for you. i'm using winlsd. program rocks. not quite term pro...but it wasn't $1000 and i get free upgrades. so shoot the specs and we'll see what we come up with.

I already have a really good program to work with , thanx though. I am putting this in an import (honda civic). The only thing I am really worried about is port noise and having the ports wide enough to avoid this.

What do you all think about the equipment that I am going to be using and do you think it will all work well together?

1 major question I have is that on the USA-2000 the SSF is set at 36Hz I think so does that mean the lowest I should really tune the ported box is to 36 HZ? I know it can be turned on and off but running ported I thought you needed one?

Anyone got any suggestions for ports and help with the sub-sonic filter?

Y dont u use slot ports? I cannot think of ne probs that u might encounter usin a slot ported box but i maybe wrong. U also might wanna look into aeroports to reduce the port noise.

as far as the system goes that is crazy man. u r gonna go deaf n make ne1 with a 50 yard radius deaf as well lol wish i had the time and $ to get a system like that. well neways keep on thumping

hi, if you are still planning on running a single battery, make it the oddyssy pc1700,it will do amazing things.with 2 zr1000s drawing 150amps each, it stays above 12volts for a full 5 second burp.add that 200amp alt to the list, plus an adjustable regulator.

I would for sure use aero ports if I went round and the only issue I see with using a slot ported design is getting it to meld well with the fiberglass enclosure.

Im probably not spending anymore on the stuff I am buying than the average person spends on there system. I ahve been taking my time and finding the best deals out there for every piece I bought. Thanks for the kind words man and hopefully when this all gets isntalled it will sound awesome.

Another question I had was about the way the sub should face. Now I could have it facing the rear seats and just fold down the seats when playing the sub or I could face it toward the trunk lid and the bass would be able to resonate from there along the side of the trunk as that part will be fairly low. Which would give me the best sound and output?

LBKC - Someone else told me about these Odyssey batteris and said that the optima yellow tops dont even compare. The only draw back to this battery would be the extra money I would have to spend on it and whether or not it would fit directly under the hood of my civic. Do you have any ideas about where in canada I could get a nice H/O 200amp alt for my car that wont cost me like my left and right nuts? What is the adjustable regulator for?

3000 watts RMS, thats a lot! .. The equipment you listed is top notch. You cant go wrong with USAmps. My advice would be to get your electricals sorted out. You'll need the highest output alt that your car can handle, (150amp will not be enough IMO, but certainly better than stock). 1/0 awg wiring, circut breakers etc.

I know 3000wrms is alot and thats just for the sub:|. I am gonna upgrade all my grounds under the hood to try and help it out. I am gonna look into a custom alt from dominik and also one of those odyssey batteries.
