box stores have there place in the market. if you cant make a sale to a customer and all hese worried about is the cheepest price and really not caring what product he gets and doesent care about service then hese not a good customer. WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT THE GUY WHO WANTS TO GRIND YOU ! there just jerks anywase !

You mean they actually had stock on their leader? Did you have to use a prybar to get the spike out?

I heard today from a several reliable sources...who talked to Phil directly today, that he has put in his resignation....and that there will definately be no Canadian warehouse for Focal products.
There will be an office for technical support, etc....but no product stocked in Canada at all......unless it's in dealers stock rooms.
I wish Phil all the best in whatever his future endeavors may hold for him, I'm sure he will show up somewhere and enhance that company he works for talent pool.

What I don't understand is why not wait the day or two for Orca/Phil to announce this? Are you a news reporter or is there another motive -- this is not the first time I have noticed this... are things that slow for you Grant?

Actually Mike.......I'm up over 40% this year.....!! And last year was a great year too.....but thanks for your concern.
And no... I'm not a reporter......when I posted this it was rumours that I had heard. I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything !
I get asked all the time about who's doing what, etc, etc. I just like to keep up to date with whats going on....and know the facts.
I have a great respect for Phil....and like I said wish him the best.
I get no joy in knowing that he has had to make a change...knowing that it has effected his family too.
I have no ill feelings towards anyone at Orca.......but you read into it what you will.....as you already have !!
You dont even know me at all...so for you to think I meant to be throwing a party over this is completely out of line......it's not in my character to be happy over someones downfall.
My sources were told by Phil...so I'm not stating anything that hasn't been said already.
Anyway....what the hell would be my motive ??
My distribution for most of my products is done....I'm not looking for any new dealers. I'm focusing on the good accounts I have and looking to increase their businesses....by selling them good reliable products they can make good money on and succeed.

Welp... my good buddy Pat has asked me to post something in this thread about the goings on at Karz/Orca... here's what he had asked me to say...
Based on our conversation I think I'm also ok in saying that he's going to land on his feet. He's got a couple of good opportunities already he'll just need to decide which one he wants to go with. In any case, I wish him all the best!
Pat has also resigned from Orca and now ORCA is no longer staffed
