O.K. I have a problem, I hit a sign, a good jolt to the car, And now my front speakers are extremely staticky(probably not a word). The deck is stock(so there's a harness in the back of it)and I think I jarred a wire loose. Does this sound plausible?

I'm really pissed about this because I've been listening to the tunes out of the back speakers(which are perfectly fine) and it's hella annoying.

Anybody know somebody in ottawa that can look at it?....not an expensive car audio place. and if not, how much do you think this is gonna cost me to fix?

 

yea sounds like some connections came loose.. start by pulling the HU and make sure everything is ok then pull the speakers and check thier
connections... make sure the wires arn't shorting on eachother or chassis ground anywhere along the way using a dmm...


as far as a shop fixing it, I guess that would depend on how long it takes them to fix it.. I would figure at least an hour to run new wire if thats what it takes...
