What Speakers to buy?

You have a idea of what it is you are looking for, now come up with a budget. This way I can develop a system for you that meets your needs or if I see a major issue with it, tell you if you are making a mistake or not.

k well, all that came up close to $800 and i totally wouldn't mind spending that much, i love my sound/music especially bass, so id want something i dont need a timeframe to buy as i have to wait a few weeks to get paid.

wow thats not to much for a complete system that you want to "sound good".. might want to check the classifieds on this site too. second hand isnt that bad. just watch from who you buy from. and if they are local well you might even be able to hear it for yourself.

well i guess its not much, but enuff for a basic setup i never said i wanted top of the line i dont want rear speakers im not in the backseat could care less lol, its a used car so odds are i wont have it forever, and i just dont want stock, like i could just go to future shop and get their basic $599 audio kit or w.e it is but i refuse to have alpine lol. so with that information maybe someone can gimme a better idea? and dw bout my budget..just that as low cost as possible, liek with the links i had what are the issues with that?

Keep the factory deck for now as any deck in your budget will not be any improvement over factory. You may even lose some quality to gain a few features that you most likely will get bored with in the first month.
As for the speakers for approx. $20 the same shop can install BASSBLOCKERS (capacitors) to the factory speakers to remove the lower frequencies which will eliminate most of the distotion and allow you to crank it up well beyond anything you heard from them before guaranteed.
You can spend the rest fof your budget $300-$400 adding to the factory deck things like I-pod adapters and or sirrius sat.
Or just buy some new cd's and a little of your favorite indulgence crank it up sit back and enjoy. As your budget improves you can add to your system later
and keep in mind you will not keep your saturn for ever but you will be able to move this system to your next ride for very little investment under $100.

lo-ki I had a 2002 durango R/T and that is all I did to it and it sounded incedibly good and loud and when compared to my friends neon with over $2000.00 invested on an entire system we both agreed mine was both louder and cleaner.
Bassblockers @ 80Hz
Alpine 10" type R
JL 250/1
Total cost of install was aprox. $600.00 at my local shop
