I have been checking out the TC Sounds LMT'd and I can see they are using an Eclipse Titanium basket and Lightning Audio Storm cone but I am not sure what motor they are using. Any ideas?
I am also how they work in comparison to the listed drivers they took the parts from.

The LMT is basically a very high excursion, very low distortion subwoofer that gets encredibly loud and still sounds as good or better than most any SQ driver.
The old prototypes that I just sold were AWESOME...I had 1200 Watts on each one ported.
The new, redesigned prototypes that I have now, are going to have 2400 Watts to each one sealed.
The SoundSplinter version of the LMT is going to be a greatly toned town version of the "super LMT" prototypes because of the cost to build them...
They will be smaller, lighter, and handle around 800-1000 Watts, vs the protos 2000W + (easy)
The protos that you are talking about do have the same basket as the TiPro, but I asked for that cone style. On the new pair, I got a CF/nomex cone with shiney aluminum dustcap.
**get loud and sound good doing it**

Also I forgot to add that the Xmax is more than 46mm one way. Almost a decimeter peak-to-peak.

TC Sounds makes the high end Lightning audio sub (and the Eclipse subwoofers--thus explaining the TiPro basket). It has an aluminum cone like the one on my first pair of prototypes. Such a nice looking cone...I love the color and the texture. Its gray in some light, and white in others.
